C-NLOER to Showcase Offshore Newfoundland and Labrador Opportunities at World Energies Summit 2026
🇨🇦 Canada–Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Energy Regulator (C-NLOER) Joins the World Energies Summit 2026
The announcement comes at an important time for Canada's offshore sector, just days after C-NLOER launched its 2026 Calls for Bids, offering 16 exploration parcels covering more than 3.68 million hectares across the Eastern and South-Eastern Newfoundland offshore regions.
Bids are due by 4 November 2026, with a minimum work commitment of CAD $10 million per parcel, highlighting the continued commitment of both regulator and governments to attract exploration investment and strengthen the competitiveness of the basin.
CEO / CCO, Scott Tessier and the C-NLOER team will join us in London this September to engage directly with investors, energy companies and industry leaders, providing insight into the latest licensing opportunities, regulatory developments and the investment case for offshore Newfoundland and Labrador.
We look forward to welcoming C-NLOER to the World Energies Summit, giving them access to the most senior network in global upstream.
