Egypt Brings Senior Upstream Leadership to World Energies Summit 2026

Egypt takes to the WES stage later this month as one of the sector's most closely watched upstream stories - and with the leadership team to tell it.

And there is plenty to discuss. Egypt’s Red Sea Licensing Round has pulled in strong international interest, with a further bid round covering 15+ Western and Eastern Desert areas due in Q3 2026.

The Egypt Upstream Gateway (EUG) digital platform alone has helped attract over $1.2 billion in upstream investment since its launch, and since WES 2025, major operators, technology and oilfield suppliers have expanded their Egyptian presence.

For a country positioning itself as the Eastern Mediterranean's next energy hub, there's no bigger stage than the World Energies Summit to make that case to global capital and we're delighted to welcome:

🇪🇬 Dr Mohamed Radwan, South Valley Egyptian Petroleum Holding Company (Ganope) Vice Chairman for Agreements and Exploration / Manager of the Egypt Upstream Gateway (EUG)

🇪🇬 H.E. Eng. Sayed Selim, Chairman and Managing Director of the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS)

🇪🇬 H.E. Eng. Salah Abdel Kerim, Chief Executive Officer of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).
