From Summit Talks to Signatures: TGS and Gabon Sign Landmark 10-Year Deepwater Exploration Partnership

Today, Kristian K. Johansen and H.E Clotaire Kondja signed a 10-year partnership between TGS and Gabon’s Ministry of Oil and Gas that puts the country's deepwater firmly on the exploration map.

The agreement covers the full data lifecycle, from brokering Gabon's existing data and reprocessing legacy datasets to unlock fresh insight, to acquiring new data across deepwater.

For Gabon, this is a long-term commitment to making its acreage highly visible and investable. And by providing TGS with exclusive rights across most of the country's deepwater area, this agreement provides operators with clarity on where the data sits and who to talk to.
