The North African Geophysical Exploration Company (NAGECO) is a leading provider of geophysical exploration services and 2D/3D seismic surveying solutions. Established in 1987 as a joint venture between the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and Western Geophysical of Canada, the company became fully owned by the NOC in 2009.

Since then NAGECO, has continued to play a strategic role in supporting Libya’s oil and gas sector by delivering integrated geophysical solutions powered by advanced data acquisition and processing technologies. These solutions generate high-resolution subsurface data that support accurate reservoir identification, reduce exploration risks, and enhance the success of oil and gas exploration across Libya’s sedimentary basins.
